Owner and Founder

Carissa founded Ultrasound Energy with a clear mission: to expand access to ultrasound and help it become a routine part of everyday patient care. As technology continues to advance rapidly, ultrasound has become more portable and accessible than ever before. Her focus is on making it practical to use in real-world settings while also bringing its benefits directly to patients through screening services.


Through online and in-person ultrasound training, Ultrasound Energy supports healthcare teams in building confidence and developing the skills needed to effectively integrate ultrasound into everyday clinical practice. The approach emphasizes hands-on application, ensuring that what is learned translates directly to real patient care.


In addition to education, Ultrasound Energy partners with medical practices to deliver on-site ultrasound screening services, bringing advanced imaging directly to patients in a convenient and accessible way. With a focus on early detection, these services help identify potential health risks before symptoms arise, giving both patients and providers the information they need to act sooner.


Her goal is simple: to make ultrasound more accessible, more widely used, and more impactful, so patients receive better insight, earlier intervention, and improved outcomes.

Her focus is on making POCUS a trusted, reliable tool that meaningfully supports patient care.


Healthcare teams face increasing pressure to work efficiently, make timely clinical decisions, and adopt technologies that deliver real value. POCUS has the potential to transform care, but only when clinicians receive structured education to support its effective use.


Carissa works with hospitals, EMS teams, and healthcare providers to develop practical skills through online education and simulation, POCUS certification, and on-site training.
