After nearly two decades in diagnostic medical sonography, Carissa founded Ultrasound Energy to bridge the gap between ultrasound technology and real-world clinical use.


She has seen firsthand how powerful ultrasound can be when used well—and how important proper training, image quality, and clinical confidence are for the patients being served. Because ultrasound is highly operator-dependent, it requires skilled hands, strong education, and the confidence to apply it appropriately in patient care.


Through hands-on training workshops and online education programs, Ultrasound Energy supports clinicians from start to finish—helping them learn ultrasound, integrate it confidently into clinical practice, and work toward POCUS certification.


The mission is simple: help practices use ultrasound well, support earlier insight, and improve care for the patients they serve.
